The Clinical Manager provides leadership and direction, in accordance with organizational and departmental standards, procedures and goals; actively participates in the hospital PI process. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates delivery of nursing care and sets nursing standards for patient care. Assesses professional growth of employees. Identifies needs and develops provisions to meet educational goals, utilizing internal and external educational resources. Hires, counsels and evaluates the performance of associates. Interviews and selects new employees. Maintains responsibility for two or more clinical services. Prepares and monitors budget for each area of responsibility.
