Qualified candidate will have knowledge and experience of highway maintenance equipment, materials, methods and procedures. Ability to plan work schedules, assign manpower and equipment needed to accomplish the job. Direct, evaluate and train others. Knowledge of safety policies, procedure and programs related to roadway construction and maintenance. Operation of hand held power tools; light, medium and heavy equipment used for highway maintenance. Supervisory principles and practices. Knowledge of inventory practices and procedures. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office programs; ability to complete reports and records. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Application deadline: January 31.
