Position maintains security, processing and storage of all evidence and property coming into the custody of the police department. Evidence Technician will ensure proper packaging and storage of property/evidence according to Police Department policy and standards established by the Virginia Department of Forensic Science. Position will conduct filing of requests for laboratory examinations and transport evidence to and from the regional labs. Must possess the ability to maintain strict security and confidentiality of information and process information with a high degree of attention to detail. Position closes Tuesday, November 1 at 5PM.
