Duties include receiving, preserving, recording, storing, securing, and releasing items of physical evidence; transporting evidence to and from regional offices and temporary field evidence storage facilities, maintaining accurate chain of custody and disposition records. Testifies in court regarding the chain of custody and handling of evidence, ensures proper handling of evidence, and performs related duties as required. Position is limited to a maximum of 24 hours per week with no state benefits. Some overnight travel and frequent daytime travel will be required. Core hours are daytime business hours.
