The successful candidate provides academic assistance to special needs students to ensure successful academic progress. Furthermore, the successful candidate must be able to learn behavior management techniques in meeting the behavioral needs of students. Teaching assistants must have experience in the use of computers, IPADS, and other technology devices typically used for instruction. The successful candidate must be willing to attend professional development in instructional methods and behavior management techniques proven to assist in student success.
