Performs difficult work managing and participating in the operation of solid waste refuse collection, disposal and recycling activities. Must have knowledge of solid waste disposal requirements and procedures; methods and practices of solid waste collection and recyclables; knowledge of the various types of equipment used in the collection and disposal of solid waste and recyclables; ability to plan and supervise the work of subordinates.
