May be responsible for setting up machines and dies using necessary measuring instruments and gauges. Responsible for using machinery to perform assembly functions. May cut material to specifications listed in prints, drawings, or verbal instructions. Must have good mechanical background and ability. Must be able to pass a written set-up test. Math problem-solving abilities equivalent to high school or above.
