The Building Official performs difficult technical and supervisory work. Position requires at least five years of experience as a licensed professional engineer or architect, building, fire or trade inspector, contractor or housing inspector. Certification as an Erosion and Sediment Control Plan Reviewer or Combined Administrator is preferred or must be obtained within one year of employment.
