This part-time position performs field inspections of structures for compliance with the VA Uniform Statewide Building Code, erosion and sediment control for compliance to the VA Erosion and Sediment Control Regulations, and assists with administration of related laws and ordinances. This position requires a minimum of five (5) years experience in general building construction and the ability to read architectural drawings. State certifications preferred; required to obtain state certification within 18 months of employment. Hourly rate is $16.40 with no benefits. Position works approximately 3 days per week.
