Paralegal or Legal Secretary. Duties include, but are not limited to, transcribing and drafting correspondence, memoranda, agenda items, ordinances, resolutions, contracts, leases, court pleadings, real estate documents, etc.; performing title searches of real estate and preparing documents for real estate closings; preparing collection documents and monitoring, recording, and processing payments of liens, garnishments, real estate transactions, etc.; and preparing and maintaining files and records. This position requires thorough knowledge of legal office practices and procedures; knowledge of municipal law.
