Responsible for contacting patients regarding balances due on patient accounts, which may include preregistration telephone calls, in person conversations and/or initiating correspondence. Evaluates uninsured patients for appropriate referrals for state or federal assistance. Reviews accounts to determine appropriate collection activity, with a goal of accelerating recoveries.
