Eight positions available. These positions/appointments are temporary and are not to exceed eight months duration. Work schedule may be Full-Time, Part-Time or Intermittent. Welcomes visitors and provides current, accurate information and orientation services at park visitor centers and visitor contact stations. Distributes maps, brochures and other printed material. Writes backcountry permits and provides information on park regulations and safe practices. Performs roving patrols on trails and in campgrounds to learn park resources and contact visitors outside of the visitor centers. Operates sales desk. Uses electronic cash register and credit card machine, performs opening/closing procedures, and assists with restocking of sales items. $28k to $40k/Per Year.
