This full-time position performs difficult skilled, technical and administrative work supervising employees and participating in management and operation. Duties include: coordinating, overseeing, and maintaining operations of various contractors hired to perform road maintenance; inspecting the condition of streets, ditches, and related improvements; preparing requests for proposals, bid documents, purchases order requests, and overseeing contracts; supervising and directing subordinate employees in the operation of equipment and management of office; preparing reports and making presentations, etc. Salary range is $43,665.40 - $66,442.08, with an excellent benefits package. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school; considerable experience with heavy equipment; and prior experience in management of personnel required.
