Supervise workers engaged in preparing and serving food. Must meet VA ABC regulations & have previous restaurant/management experience. Monitor and oversee purchases, menus, staff, and payroll. Guide, direct, and train staff. Schedule work hours and activities. Total receipts and balance against sales, deposit receipts, and lock facility at end of shift. Monitor actions of staff and customers to ensure that health and safety standards and liquor regulations are obeyed. Maintain sanitation standards and keep appropriate records. Have a good understanding and knowledge of all areas of full service and banquet operations to assist or to fill in, if necessary, in any position.
