This position is responsible for the timely shipment of goods from a distribution center and for all activities occurring on the relevant shift. Manages overall inventory movement, while monitoring handling procedures, incoming quality, box quantity, space utilization, storage, exceptions and shortages. Trains and develops employees, including supervisors and mechanics. Communicates internally with workforce and externally with division, company or corporate management to improve service and provide requested information. College degree preferred, 2-5 years experience in a distribution center preferred.
