Local town is currently accepting applications for a part-time position for a superintendent of the works to oversee construction of upcoming project. The superintendent will work closely with the general contractor, local municipality and VDOT to ensure compliance with the contract and design. The position requires a background in civic/public works inspections. The successful candidate must possess current VDOT inspection certification(s). The construction time frame is estimated to be five (5) mos. Construction will commence in approximately 2 mos. Pay range $10-$17.00/hr DOQ/DOE w/out FT benefits.
