This is a TEMPORARY appointment/position anticipated not to exceed 8 months of work performing a combination of fire effects monitoring and firefighting duties in varying combinations. Frequent overnight travel is required and may include weekends off away from home; normal work will be a flexible schedule of 10 hour days Mon – Thurs, but may vary. Selected applicants will be required to pass and maintain physical fitness standards established for firefighters and obtain and maintain a minimum of NWCG Firefighter2 Red Card qualifications. Red Card qualifications must be obtained within 45 days of employment. $15.00 /hour.
