Deputy Clerk - Luray

The Deputy Clerk is assigned operational responsibilities in a high volume office with frequent deadlines. This position is responsible for accounting and financial responsibilities; e.g. fines, court costs, bond payments, issues receipts. A desire and commitment to providing excellent customer service to a diverse population and working in a team environment are required.  Hiring range:  $ 25,514/year. Full benefits.  Application deadline is December 10.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include processing and filing of documents, entry of data into a case management system, customer service in person and by telephone, prepares daily cash settlement slips, prepares or assist clerk with financial reports, assumes additional responsibilities on a temporary basis other than those primarily assigned to the positions as required by Clerk.
